Two Doctors
My wife and I are both physicians, she is a primary care doc and I am a surgeon. Together I think we have a general idea of most medical and surgical approaches to the treatment of disease. My wife has had varicose veins since she was twenty and although they are not painful, they have caused her to avoid wearing some of the clothes she likes. I have a birthmark on my face that has been growing and becoming more pigmented over the last five years. After researching the methods for both procedures we came across Doctors Medical Center and read the articles written by Dr Laurusonis on both our issues. We came and had our initial consultation, decided to go ahead and schedule a sclerotherapy session for my wife and a laser treatment for me. We came in were seen right away and the results have been amazing. After one treatment my wife's legs look ten years younger and she can't wait to have her second and final session. I went to Doctors Medical Center to have my wrist checked out. Thinking it was just a sprain and nothing more, I did not want to incur the four to five hour emergency room wait! Upon arrival, I was checked in immediately and filled out the necessary paperwork. I was taken back to a room in less than 5 minutes. I was really impressed because usually urgent care waits can be lengthy as well. I explained to the doctor what was going on with my wrist and I was immediately x-rayed, which was another short waiting period. As it turned out, my wrist was broken. The doctor treated me accordingly and set up a followup visit as well as providing me with orthopedic surgeons, just in case. The total time spent at Doctors Medical Center was 1 hour. At my followup visit for my wrist, I discussed with the doctor some ongoing back pain issues that I had been having. He had x-rays taken and then referred me out to have additional tests completed. The doctor had ordered tests that no doctor before had done. As it turned out, I had several issues with my back and that previous procedures I had done on my back actually caused more harm than good.The nursing staff is also very kind, very knowledgeable, and attentive. I'm blessed with good friends, still looking for the mechanic, but have found a great doctor at Doctors Medical Center.After years of dealing with impersonal doctors, long waits for appointments, trips to labs, longer waits for the results, and nonchalant office staff, I gave up and just stopped going to doctors. My name is Ms. K. and I want to tell you about my experience with laser hair removal. I am of mixed race, therefore, considered of the black race. My skin is not very dark but has a deep bronze tan color and therefore not considered white. My daughter however, has a dark brown color to her skin.I am describing these two skin colors so you will understand the effects when the wrong equipment and technique of laser is used on these diverse colors of black skin. My daughter and I had been interested in the laser hair removal for a couple of years and had visited a few places. She had blisters up and down her legs and today, she still has scars that we are not sure will ever fade. My wish is not to discourage you, but to advise you to seek only professionals for these treatments. I was very lucky to find Doctors Medical Center in Duluth where they have the most up-to-date equipment which does not target dark pigmentation (So it will not burn dark skin) but red hair follicles and includes a cooling mechanism to eliminate the chances of getting burnt. My daughter and I are into our third treatments and have experienced only the best of service there. The treatments are done by a licensed doctor who not only has a vast knowledge of the technique but is also a medical doctor who treats all other ailments as well, including the burns that my daughter and I sustained from the other company. I'm a pediatrician new to Atlanta, but I've been in pediatric practice in Houston, TX for 30 years and have seen the headaches you describe in my patients (I see up to 24 years of age). I took my 2 1/2 year son to Doctors Medical Center on a Saturday evening. My son was very sick with 106.00 rectal temp. As it turned out, my son had a double ear infection. My son was treated immediately and taken care of promptly. All medical decisions were discussed in detail before any procedure was done, as well as the cost. My son had to receive two shots. The nurse was so quick and professional, that my son did not even cry after he received the shots. I thought about taking him to the ER, but was nervous about the ER with a sick toddler. My family and another family were at the ER and I spent 4 hours there. My family was in a car accident and we went to the ER for treatment. We were all checked out and there were no major injuries. The next day my son, daughter and wife were not feeling well. We went to Doctors Medical Center to be checked over. It was a Sunday and they saw the whole family immediately. They took xrays and provided the best treatment and also processed the claims for us with our all insurance and auto insurance. The most important thing is that the doctor a serious chest infection in my daughter. My daughter was scheduled to have surgery that Monday and had Dr. Laurusonis not seen her and diagnosed the problem, she would have been put under Monday morning with a serious chest infection and could have suffered serious complications. I would like to write this recommendation about Dr. Laurusonis. I have osteoporosis and have been to a lot of medical doctors, orthopaedic doctors and speciality doctors. I'm 63 years old and in constant pain. . He spends all his time to explain things to you and come to his office at anytime you need him. Never have I met a doctor who cared so much about his patients. I was with my other doctor for 30 years, have never met a more knowledgable and caring doctor in my life until I changed and noticed a difference. He set up special tests that other doctors did not. I've changed to Dr. Laurusonis to be my primary care physician. Although, he does not accept my insurance, he is well worth the change. He keeps his office open 7 days a week. I highly recommend him as a physician. He is the best and most knowledgeable doctor I've ever known. If you are sick or have other problems, I would highly recommend this doctor. (Prior to coming [for treatment] I could barely walk and the pain would not let me sleep. I would like to thank you for the excellent laser treatments I received and getting rid of the redness on my face due to rosacea. After the treatments and thousands of blood vessels on my face removed, everyone comments on how much younger I look. My wife and friends say that I look 10 years younger. Went to Doctors Medical Center for a sinus infection. Staff and Dr. Laurusonis were great. Saw the doctor fast and was treated with shots and received medication. Felt a lot better the next day. Definitely will go back. Insiderpages.

After initial hesitation when I arrived at your offices only to find them closed for my first visit, you surprised me by calling me to explain and apologize about your staff and the flu bug hitting everyone. Because I only just moved here, and had hired a sitter...I was eager to be discontent and then you called again to reset the appointment after the storm hit.
Then you accepted and allowed my daughter to be in the appointment. And for a Botox appointment....I've had it done many times and never has anyone spent so much time and even "shushed me" so you could truly explain what was happening to my face. And then even further you recognized the urgency of the moles on my face that needed attention that in no way could I afford right now to remove. I just needed to make sure I thanked you properly for such special attention. In the 4 years since I hit the 40 mark and did Botox or maintenance when I could no one has ever taken such care. And your kindness to my child and explanations and generosity has not gone unnoticed. I wanted to make sure you knew this. I'll be back when I've saved enough to afford your recommendations. Antes de venir aqui no podia casi caminar porque el dolor ni me dejaba dormir. Estas venas me afectaban y causaban mucho 'stress' , tenia dolor las 24 horas del dia no podia usar shorts o sandalias por los ultimos 20 anos solo con jeans. (Prior to coming [for treatment] I could barely walk and the pain would not let me sleep. These veins affected me and caused a lot of stress, I had pain 24 hrs a day and could not wear shorts or sandals for the last 20 years just jeans. Since I had the treatment I feel happier, I don't feel the heaviness in my legs anymore, I can finally sleep at night and am planning on buying shorts and a bathing suit. (My daughter received treatment for her veins using 'sclerotherapy'. She suffered from pain in her legs that gave her no peace. After only one treatmenmt her veins are more than 60% cured. The surgery went great, her legs immediately got their natural color back and looked much better.
